Breaking: Blind Rebels Singer Attacks Guitarist on Stage
Several social media sources report that Mavrick Slater, front man for the Blind Rebels, stopped singing during the third song in their much anticipated Madison Square Garden show. Multiple videos show the confused band continuing to play, and Slater running across the stage, catching his still playing guitarist Callum Donogue, in a flying tackle. The two tumble all the way to the stage floor.
The singer straddled the guitarist while he was down and continued to punch the guitarist multiple times, while his twin brother Killian looked on in horror.
Crew members soon rush onto the stage, pulling the singer off the guitarist and escorting him off stage. Killian, helped his brother, the guitarist, to his feet and escorted him off stage, leaving drummer Sammy Denton the lone Rebel on the stage.
Sammy grabbed Mav’s discarded microphone and said “Um, sorry about that.” before being escorted from the stage.
Twenty minutes later, the tour manager for the Blind Rebels returned to the stage, announcing that everyone is okay but the show is over and the audience should ask for refunds from their ticket seller.
I’ve contacted the Rebels representation but so far no one has returned my inquiry. Rumor has it that minutes prior to taking the stage, Slater saw the recently released sex tape of his fiancee, Becka Morrison, in a compromising position with his guitarist. Rumors also say that Becka is pregnant but it’s unclear who the child’s father is. The Rebels camp is keeping tight-lipped about the whole encounter.
We will post again as soon as we know more. Keep rocking!– Carla
